In 2011 the collected “Futurama”/ “Simpsons” crossover series on which he and fellow Vancouverite Ian Boothby collaborated was nominated for both Eisner and Harvey Awards.Of course, Lloyd’s comic work doesn’t begin or end with Bongo; he entered Vancouver’s animation industry in the mid-90s, during which time he also became involved in the burgeoning small-press comics scene. While he continues to publish his own titles, Lloyd has recently begun work on Boom! Comics’ “Adventure Time” series, and contributed to First Second’s “Above the Dreamless Dead” anthology in 2014.Now you can delve a little deeper into the Groening universe and become a bonafide member of your favourite four-fingered family.
